TWILIGHT

Twilight is the moment when the urgency of the day gently begins to withdraw, giving way to calm darkness and comforting silence. In the presence of twilight, the whole world seems to grow more peaceful.

On 12 March at 7:00 PM, pianist Kamilė Zaveckaitė invites the people of Sūduva to gather at Paežeriai Manor for her solo piano concert “Twilight.” The programme will feature contemplative compositions that seek neither to impress nor to prove anything. The music of Italian ambient master Ludovico Einaudi will flow through us like a slow, breathing mantra, inviting us to release what no longer serves us.

In the performer’s recital, twilight becomes not an ending, but a transition—a moment when we allow ourselves to slow down, to forgive, to dissolve into sound.
Come, sit, breathe in—and let the music carry you to a place of goodness and stillness. A place where it feels light and safe.

KAMILĖ ZAVECKAITĖ

Kamilė Zaveckaitė is a pianist who approaches the piano as a living organism—breathing, capable of igniting in one moment and instantly calming in the next, yet always boldly searching for identity and new forms of performance.

She is a laureate of 17 international and national competitions and, in 2023, became the first and only “Yamaha Artist” in Lithuania, representing one of the world’s most renowned piano manufacturers. Kamilė serves as Artistic Director of the Marijampolė Philharmonic, organiser of the international classical music festival Culture Days, and co-founder and Artistic Director of the Sūduva Youth Symphony Orchestra—projects born from her desire for music not only to be performed, but to nurture a strong cultural community.

For her merits to her region, she has been awarded the title of Ambassador of the City of Marijampolė, is a recipient of the St. George Medal, and has twice been honoured by the President of the Republic of Lithuania and by the Lithuanian Association for Defence, Culture and Education for her contribution to the dissemination of high-quality culture in Lithuania.

Her concerts are refined landscapes of piano sound and classical structure, meeting inner fire, a free pulse, and unpolished stage energy.
